Dear Colleagues,
It is with immense regret that the New Zealand Planning Committee announces the cancellation of the 20th World Conference for Gifted and Talented Children on ‘ The Soul of Giftedness,’ planned for August, 2013.
Despite sustained and immense efforts, we have been unable to find the sponsorship funding necessary to covering the costs of this conference. Gifted education is not a priority in the current global financial climate.
In addition, we encountered some significant organisational difficulties that we were unable to resolve and in fairness to all concerned, we have most reluctantly reached the decision that we cannot continue.
